Alþjóðajarðhitaráðstefnan 2015 í Ástralíu

Hópur sérfræðinga frá ÍSOR tekur þátt í Alþjóðajarðhitaráðstefnunni, World Geothermal Congress, dagana 19.-24. apríl. Ráðstefnan er að þessu sinni haldin í Melbourne í Ástralíu.

Ráðstefnan er haldin fimmta hvert ár og þangað sækja jarðhitasérfræðingar, vísindamenn, tæknifræðingar, verkfræðingar og forystumenn á sviði orkumála víða að úr veröldinni. Þetta er einn umfangsmesti viðburðurinn í jarðhitageiranum og árið 2020 mun ráðstefnan fara fram hér á landi.

Flutt verða um 25 erindi frá jarðhitasérfræðingum ÍSOR og eru þau gefin upp hér að neðan, ásamt nafni þess sem flytur erindið. Að auki má nefna að sérfræðingar ÍSOR eru jafnframt meðhöfundar í nokkrum greinum. Hægt er að sjá lista yfir öll erindin á ráðstefnunni á vefsíðu WGC2105.
Sýning er í tengslum við ráðstefnuna og þar kynna íslensk fyrirtæki starfsemi sína á sameiginlegum kynningarbási með Íslandsstofu. Auk ÍSOR eru á þessum kynningarbási verkfræðistofurnar Efla, Mannvit og Verkís, Landsvirkjun, Jarðboranir og Orkustofnun.
